Day One - London
I woke up nice and early in Palmer’s Lodge Swiss Cottage, at which I’d arrived some time after midnight after a horrible 15 hour flight and epic border security lines at Gatwick.
I caught the tube, which I love, to Westminster, to see Big Ben.
It was disgustingly windy, I had to hold my beanie on and looked like a massive wanker, but oh well. Then I trotted over to Westminster...

guess what i spent today doing?
playing pokemon leaf green on my laptop. my sister installed a gameboy emulator. it is the BEST. i have a squirtle (my favourite) and a pikachu, plus a pretty bitchin’ pidgy, amongst others.

i start work on monday. motherfucker. i hope it isn’t shit. i feel like it’s all downhill from here.
on the plus side, i’ll have 7 times the amount of money i’m used to having, in constant doses, and i never have to work a weekend ever again. on the down side, i have a full time job, have to wake up early, and don’t get the entirety of summer off.
