well, after 13 hours on one plane, 5 hours in a sweaty airport, and 8 hours on another plane, i got to circle the gold coast for an hour trying to land. we then got diverted to brisbane, and held on the plane for an hour or so. air asia provided a bus back to the gold coast, which is just what i felt like doing after being on a plane for about 24 hours. and then when mum and brendan picked me up...

My flight has been pushed back three hours which means I only have to spend five hours in LCCT, but it also means I have most of the day to kill in London. This would be fine but I’m not sure what to do with my bags… Hopefully my hostel will hold them (though probably at a price, even wifi is a pound for 20 minutes, ugh).

In Rome! I like it. It’s a bit crazy but it’s nice. There’s a wine and beer vending machine in my hostel, a can or small bottle is €1.50.
In other news, I’ve only heard two Australian songs while over here, one was ‘eyes wide open’ by Gotye in Paris and the other is ‘can’t get you out of my head’ by Kylie Minogue right now haha.

dublin is nice, i like it. though my hostel went bankrupt (poor irish economy) so i had to move this morning, and spent one million hours wandering around temple bar trying to find it because multiple sources had wrongly told me where it was. i went to chester beatty library today and it was lovely, lots of super old books and art.
